Sleep data is complex—and often useless to the average user.
This platform needed to serve two very different audiences:
Individuals wanting to improve their sleep
Companies looking to improve employee productivity
The challenge: deliver value to both without compromising clarity or privacy.
I focused on structure and trust:
How might we design a system that makes sleep data actionable while respecting user privacy?
To do this, I:
Mapped dual user journeys (individual vs. business)
Defined what each user actually needs to know
Prioritized transparency and data ethics

1. Dual Dashboard System
Personal dashboard → sleep score + actionable insights
Business dashboard → aggregated, anonymized data
Balanced personalization with privacy
2. Clear Data Visualization
Simplified complex metrics into digestible visuals
Made insights easy to understand and act on
3. Privacy-First Design
No individual data exposed to companies
Built trust into the product experience
4. Improved Design–Dev Collaboration
Embedded design system guidance directly into ClickUp
Reduced inconsistencies in implementation
5. Iterative Visualization Improvements
Shifted from dense dashboards to clearer, more readable graphics
Increased usability and comprehension

Clearer insights for both individuals and organizations
Stronger alignment between design and development
More trustworthy experience through privacy-first decisions
Designing for multiple users requires clear separation of needs
Privacy is not a feature—it’s a foundation
Communication is as important as design in product success
